Hey, sorry I never log on or post, like... at all.
i just skim through, occasionally reading a fanfiction, favourite a cosplay.
that is basically all i do on here now
i doubt i'll post art here again
but oh my god all my previous stuff is so awful
its been a long while since i posted, almost a year i think.
im still into Homestuck, Hetalia, Lord of the Rings, Free!, the works
i'll be in a homestuck panel on the 25th actually.
waiting for the next update, rumor is it'll be tomorrow

Hi! been forever since i typed to yalls. so what am i up to?
well i've fallen in love with the Hobbit trilogy, the dwarves along with King Asshole.

The Song of May: I love the characterizations of Francis, plain and simple. the way you allude to the fact theyre countries without making it too obvious (though i thought it would be questioned more) is so admirable, because you kept them the same characters while others would make it an AU where theyre human and hetalia doesnt matter. With the means of making the story unique to the reader, i find it easier to keep their appearence vague, we don't need to see (e/c) because we know our own eye colour. same with hair, you can still make it seem like the reader without adding a bunch of ((())) because personally, that takes me right out of the story.
I Have Seen the Unspeakable: You show a side of England that i really like here. the only problems with it i had was (besides my own misreadings at 1 am) was the customization. With England x reader i have a tough time because I have green eyes and red hair. when stories try and go in depth with descriptions of the reader and the main character, it ends up reading "his radioactive shards of emerald gazed into her (green) eyes" (radioactive shards of emerald- im sorry thats way too dramatic----example not from you, just creating dramatic effect) so it makes his eyes seem
1. more interesting than mine
2. looks bad on the writer for letting something so lopsided happen
3. its the same colour, why is it so drastically different from mine
I just think its something to think about when writing these characters that have common eye colours (unlike Russia, Prussia, and Romania) because i feel drowned in customizations and then when they make one character seem so amazing for one feature, and then they're given (green) for the same feature, its a little disheartening. as for names, its easier to see ______ ______ because you get the idea, its your first and last name. I like this option better because i dont feel like im being prodded along like a cow like "okay, now fill in your name, and now your last name"
im probably being over dramatic, but sometimes it just runs rampant (not necessarily in yours) in fanfiction and i need to rant a little.
your descriptions are A+, you could write a damn best seller with that skill. keep going, i love your work, and count on me to read and favourite more since i just found you last night. Have a great day, and an even greater weekend.

have a lovely way of depicting his eye colour. And secondly, it's kind of difficult
to make the Reader's eyes be just as majestic as the character's when the
author has no idea what colour the Reader's eyes are in the first place. Reader
Inserts are a tricky business to be involved in—you have to make the fic enjoyable
and relatable without knowing what your audience is personally like. Lastly, if
the Reader is supposed to be in love/crushing on/obsessed/whatever with the
character, typically emotions such as that will make the person see their lover/
crush/whatever in the best possible light.
