Goodness, I didn't expect so much feedback! Thank you!
1.) In your comments on
The Song of May, I have a question. You asked
me why the fact that France was a nation wasn't questioned more. My
question is why
would it be questioned if the Reader had no idea he
was a country in the first place?
2.) Why many (if not most?) writers give so much life to the characters
and their features could be for many reasons. I specifically make England's
eyes seem so hypnotic because that's how I
see him. I adore him very much,
as seen in this fic specifically. I find his eyes to be gorgeous
—many artists
have a lovely way of depicting his eye colour. And secondly, it's kind of difficult
to make the Reader's eyes be just as majestic as the character's when the
author has no idea what colour the Reader's eyes are in the first place. Reader
Inserts are a tricky business to be involved in
—you have to make the fic enjoyableand relatable without knowing what your audience is personally like. Lastly, if
the Reader is supposed to be in love/crushing on/obsessed/whatever with the
character, typically emotions such as that will make the person see their lover/
crush/whatever in the best possible light.
Thank you very much for your kind words! I'm happy to hear that I could be a
best-seller! That's very encouraging and sweet of you to say~
I hope you have a great weekend as well~!
